Left Coast Chamber Ensemble (LCCE) is looking for a Stage Manager for its 2022-23 concert season. We perform 5 sets of 2 concerts per year, in a variety of venues in San Francisco and the East Bay.
The candidate needs to be available on both days of each concert set (Sunday & Monday) for all concerts during the season as listed below, from approximately 5PM-10PM. They will be expected to prepare the show at the pre-concert dress rehearsal and stage manage the performance.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Spiking the stage during the dress rehearsal and preparing any light cues
Supervising pre-show back-stage
Ensuring performers are backstage and ready at the appropriate time
Handling microphones for speakers
Managing stage changes and Lighting cues during the performance
Post-concert strike
Briefing/Training stagehands, as needed
Be knowledgeable on how to supervise and run front-of-house, brief ushers, etc. in case of emergencies.
The ideal candidate will be organized, a good communicator, and have stage management experience.

Compensation: $25/hr 5hr per concert ~ $125/per performance 5pm-10pm
