The Left Coast Chamber Ensemble announces the winners of its Annual Composition Contest
Left Coast Chamber Ensemble sponsors an annual Composition Contest that draws over 150 applicants each year, and furthers one of our goals: performing the very best music that today’s composers, whether established or emerging, have to offer. The winner of the 2010 Left Coast Composer Prize is Steven Snowden for “The Devil’s Nine Questions.” In addition, two honorable mentions were awarded, to Tolga Yayalar for “Alliteratio,” and to Robert Carl for “Quantum Dances.”
